Whoever has Christ in his heart, so that no earthly or temporal things -- not even those that are legitimate and allowed -- are preferred to Him, has Christ as a foundation. But if these things be preferred, then even though a man seem to have faith in Christ, yet Christ is not the foundation to that man.
— Saint Augustine

What we mean by that:

An Imprimatur is an official declaration from the Roman Catholic Church that a literary or similar work is free from error in matters of Roman Catholic doctrine and morals, and is acceptable reading for faithful Roman Catholics. We carry a wide variety of books that we believe to be good reading, in keeping with the teachings of the Church, and some do not hold an imprimatur.

We try to stock and promote authors and books we know are in keeping with Church doctrine. We also carry other items we believe to be helpful or useful to the faithful, which do not go against Church doctrine.

However, we are human and prone to make mistakes. We are a small, family owned business and don't have the budget and staff of a book superstore. If you find that we carry something that is contrary to Church doctrine, and presented as true, tell us what it is and provide a reference from an official Catholic source, and we will stop carrying the item.
